Founders Studio · Phase 2
Pitch from Prototype
After you have a clickable demo, build a 7-slide story: problem, user, solution, prototype proof, model, ask, next step. Not a 40-page deck.

Phase 2 track
Part of Founders Studio. In-person teaching today. Video recordings come later.
Why this comes after the sprint
Fundraising courses often teach slides before product proof. Investors and partners respond to demos, not generic market size slides.
This module distills *Pitch Deck*, *What Investors Look For*, and *Lean Startup: 7 Slides* into one session after Phase 1.
7-slide map
- Problem · one vivid user moment
- User · who pays or adopts first
- Solution · what changes after your product
- Prototype proof · live demo or 30s recording
- Model hypothesis · how you could make money (one line)
- Ask · funding, pilot, or partnership (specific)
- Next 90 days · what the money or yes unlocks
60-second demo script
- Open on the success screen (outcome first)
- Name one design decision you can defend
- Show one edge state (error or empty)
- Close with what you need from the room
Pass rule
Demo works on mobile without you clicking hidden hotspots.
What reviewers scan for
| Signal | Weak | Strong |
|---|---|---|
| User | "Everyone" | Named role + context |
| Problem | Feature list | Repeated pain behavior |
| Proof | Mockups only | Clickable task completed |
| Model | "Ads and subscriptions" | One primary revenue path |
| Ask | "Looking for support" | Amount or pilot scope + use |
You do not need a data room in this class. You need clarity and a working demo.
