Taught live in the room. This site is your session guide, brief template, and take-homes between classes. A self-paced Courses twin uses the same lesson map.
Typography is how people read your product. This workshop takes you from beginner vocabulary to an advanced, reusable Figma type system.
You will lock personality, weight ladder, mobile scale, pairing, rem handoff, and accessibility floors. Then you apply the system on two real screens and defend it.
Print and graphic production (pt, mm, brand books) are out of scope. Those belong in the planned Graphic & Print Typography twin.
Typeface vs font, categories, and personality-led font choice. Not vibes-only picking.
Display/H1 Bold · H2/H3 Semibold · Body Regular · UI Medium/Semibold. Clear reading order on every screen.
Roles, sizes, line heights, and tracking locked as reusable text styles from one product scale.
One family first. Contrast pairs with jobs. Screens checked at 390px and 1440px.
Document px and rem for core roles so engineering can implement without guessing.
Ship one product UI screen and one marketing moment with real copy, then defend the system in five minutes.

Typography for Digital Products

Helpful but not required. Week 3 is a survey chapter. This course is the deeper specialty with labs and a capstone.
No. This course is UI and digital only (px, screens, rem). Graphic & Print Typography is planned as a separate twin course.
Both. Live cohorts use AI Studio session guides. The Courses marketplace listing uses the same six-lesson map for self-paced buyers.
